CSA cement ( Rapid set cement )
CSA cement is one type of cement has the
advantages of super high early and final strength, low alkaline, fast setting time, rapid hardening, frost & corrosion
resistance, etc. Due to its wonderful performance, it can be used in many applications like mining industry,
bridge decks, airport runways, patching concrete roadways, sidewalks, pavements, etc. where rapid strength developments
are necessary.
CSA cements offer tremendous advantages over Portland cement in terms of strength, setting time, speed and
greeness .It main features are high initial and final strength, concentrative hydrating heat release, fast setting
time, good fluidity, high frost and corrosion resistance, impermeability, low carbon, etc.
It can be used in the following areas:
1. High strength cement & concrete
2. Dry mortars, such as tile adhesive, high strength grouting materials, self-leveling materials, rapid setting
mortars, etc.
3. Concrete repair materials, Pavement repairs and other repair materials
4. Sprayed Concretes and Shotcretes
5. Plasters & Mortars (i.e. Joints, Sulfate resistance, Non-shrinkage, etc.)
6. Concrete precast products
7. Countertops, pots, and other GFRC products.
8. Mining industry
9. Etc.
